SUU JSC ATHLETE I. TSELMIUN BECOMES MONGOLIA’S FIRST MEDALIST AT THE WORLD CUP

🌍 Ideriin Tselmuun, an athlete representing Suu JSC, made history by becoming the first-ever chess player from Mongolia to win a medal at the World Chess Cup, organized by FIDE (the International Chess Federation) in celebration of its 100th anniversary.

The tournament, which gathered top young chess players in the U8, U10, and U12 categories from around the world, saw four Mongolian players participate. Competing under Bosoo Noyon Club and Suu JSC, International Chess Federation Master Ideriin Tselmuun played a total of nine games — seven wins, one draw, and one loss — securing the bronze medal and adding another World Championship medal to her growing list of achievements.

Tselmuun is already a four-time national youth champion of Mongolia and previously earned a bronze medal at the World Chess Championship. She began playing chess at the age of five and entered her first tournament at the age of eight. The recent World Cup marked her 13th international tournament.

As a proud supporter of youth sports, Suu JSC, Mongolia’s oldest national manufacturer, has sponsored Tselmuun since her very first tournament in 2022. The company believes strongly in her potential to achieve even greater success on the continental and global stages, and to one day become a Grandmaster representing Mongolia at the highest levels of the chess world. 💙
