Whistleblowing refers to the act of reporting information about illegal, unethical, or policy-violating actions that have occurred, are currently occurring, or may potentially occur in the future, through a safe and protected channel by a person who becomes aware of such misconduct.

In other words, it is a courageous step taken to identify mistakes or violations and report them in order to correct and improve them, thereby protecting the organization’s culture and integrity.

At Suu JSC, the following individuals may act as whistleblowers:

  • Employees and authorized officers at all levels
  • Former employees
  • Customers and clients
  • Suppliers and contractors
  • Participants in announced tenders

For example:

  • Giving or receiving bribes
  • Conflict of interest
  • Abuse of official position
  • Misuse or embezzlement of company assets
  • Disclosure of confidential information
  • Workplace harassment or discrimination
  • Violations of the Code of Ethics
  • Errors in production processes
  • Occupational health and safety violations
  • Other issues specified in the Whistleblowing Policy

Yes. You may request to remain anonymous. Your report and any personal information you provide will be kept confidential and protected.

No. Retaliation, intimidation, or discrimination against a whistleblower is strictly prohibited. If your rights are violated or you suffer any form of retaliation, this itself is considered a type of violation that can be reported through the whistleblowing channel.

If you intentionally provide false information, it is considered a serious violation of applicable laws, rules, and policies, and appropriate disciplinary actions will be taken. (However, if you report a potential issue in good faith without malicious intent, you will not be held liable.)

Depending on the nature and type of the reported issue, the inspection may be conducted by:

  • The Compliance Manager
  • The Internal Audit Department
  • The Ethics Committee
  • The direct superior of the person involved in the violation

It shall not exceed 20 working days in total.

  • Evidence (e.g., email, photos, audio, documents)
  • Facts of the event specifying the date and location of the incident
  • Names, positions, and involvement of the people related to the facts
  • Information on how, where, and when the whistleblower learned about the facts

You have the right to file a complaint with the Board of Directors' Risk and Compliance Committee.

Yes. You have the right to blow the whistle within 3 months of your departure from the company.

No. It is prohibited to disclose the content of the whistleblowing information and the details of the monitoring and inspection process to others.

Information related to the alleged wrongdoer will be kept confidential, similar to the whistleblower, and no one will be deemed to have committed a violation or be guilty before the final conclusion is reached and approved by the Executive Director's order.
