Ideriin Tselmuun, an athlete sponsored by Suu JSC, made history at the 19th Asian Schools Chess Championship 2025 by winning three events consecutively and claiming three Asian championship titles simultaneously.
The tournament, held in Mongolia for the first time from October 25 to November 1, 2025, brought together 677 young chess players from 16 Asian countries. Competitors tested their skills in the Standard, Rapid, and Blitz formats, showcasing the highest levels of youth chess talent across the continent.
Mongolia achieved an outstanding overall performance, winning 14 medals and finishing first in the team standings, marking a new milestone in the development of chess in the country.
Among all the achievements, the most remarkable belonged to Mongolia’s young chess prodigy and Suu JSC athlete, Ideriin Tselmuun. By winning all three formats—Standard, Rapid, and Blitz—she became one of the first Mongolian school-age players to capture three Asian championship titles at a single tournament, adding a historic accomplishment to Mongolian chess.
In the Standard event, Tselmuun outperformed her opponents through strategic planning, long-term vision, careful calculation, and precise decision-making. In the Rapid and Blitz events, she demonstrated exceptional speed, sharp judgment, and strong psychological resilience, giving her a decisive edge over the competition.
