Mongolia’s oldest dairy producer, Suu Joint Stock Company, successfully organized the Youth Chess Tournament under the framework of its sustainable development initiative, “SUU 365”, for the third consecutive year.
This year’s tournament has expanded significantly, bringing together over 600 children aged 5 to 18 from provinces across Mongolia and the capital city, Ulaanbaatar, all actively engaged in the sport of chess.
The primary aim of the tournament is to support intellectual development through chess by enhancing children’s critical thinking, concentration, and strategic planning skills. It also seeks to promote the game of chess among young people and provide them with a meaningful and productive way to spend their free time.
Suu JSC has consistently implemented wide-ranging policies and programs with a positive national impact. The core message of the “SUU 365” policy is:
“If every child drinks three cups of milk daily during their growth years, they will receive all the essential vitamins, proteins, calcium, and nutrients necessary for healthy physical and intellectual development, becoming strong, resilient, and well-rounded individuals.”
Scientific research has shown that children who do not consume enough milk and dairy products during their growth years are more likely to face weaker physical development, lower immunity, and increased risk of various health issues.
That’s why it is our ultimate goal to promote this vital global health concept in Mongolia, to help parents develop healthy nutritional habits for their children, and to support the youth in building a healthy and active lifestyle.
